Monday, 14th April 2008 at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting was called for the sole purpose of finalising the Annual Accounts as required by the Auditor.

Present - Cllrs. J. Murgatroyd (in the Chair), Gardiner, Hatt, Lyster and Scott, together with the Clerk and Financial Officer.

Apologies - Cllrs. Brearley and Wahlich.

1. The Minutes of the meeting held on 17th March were taken as read, confirmed and signed.

2. To finalise the Annual Accounts and the Return for Audit.
   Section 4 of the Annual Return had been approved and signed by the Internal Auditor.
   The Clerk then read Section 1 of the Annual Accounts and Section 2 (Annual Governance Statement) was completed and approved as required by the Auditor.  The Chairman and Clerk then signed and dated the Annual Return for the Year Ended 31st March 2008.

3. To confirm dates of Annual Parish Council Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting.
   The dates for the Annual Parish Council meeting and the Annual Parish Meeting as agreed on 17th March had been put back one week i.e. to Tuesday 6th May and 9th May.  Cllr. Scott had been instrumental in producing and organising the Parish Plan and it would be an opportunity for residents to hear from him about the success of the project.

The Chairman then declared the meeting closed.
